ISSA’s study shows that cleaning is an important investment for people’s health, the environment and also for business.
ISSA (International Sanitary Supply Association), a global professional cleaning association of which ALLIA is a part, publis hed a
study that reinforces cleanliness and hygiene as a value for companies and organizations by impacting employee well-being,
customer satisfaction, brand reputation and heritage preservation
While 40% of employees worldwide worry about getting sick in the workplace, companies that care about promoting clean
environments ensure people’s health by reducing absenteeism (absence of the employee from work due to illness) and
presenteeism (presence of the sick employee, but with low income), which reflects in the productivity and profitability of the
business.
The study also highlights how the pandemic has increased the demands of customers, influencing their perceptions and actions.
Consumer priorities include policies and processes that follow Covid-19 protocols, with safe distancing, clean environments and
sanitized products – aspects that can also define brand loyalty
