ALLIA Hygiene & Health Program: new challenges call for new answers

The pandemic has broadened the understanding of the importance of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure the health, well-being
and safety of people, environments and businesses. To seek the appropriate responses to the new challenges that arise, ALLIA
created the & Health Hygiene Program, which structures professional cleaning and disinfection recommendations and
guidelines for nine different segments: schools, offices, food service, hospitals, supermarkets, gyms, industries, shopping malls
and hotels.

 

The material is the result of the joint work of dozens of experts from ALLIA member companies from all over Brazil. “This
collaboration was essential to develop such complete materials: the solid experience of our network in the national market, i n line
with the best practices adopted in the world, guarantees a high standard of information to meet the new level of hygiene and
cleaning needs,” says Rodrigo Senday, executive director of ALLIA

 

GOING BEYOND PROTOCOLS

From a systemic view to practical application, the program details how to make professional environments safe, properly cleaned
and properly sanitized, ensuring the protection of customers, employees and suppliers. “It’s not just protocols: the & Health
Hygiene Program includes a series of procedures, care and conduct to ensure the safety of spaces in a continuous and lasting way,
so that users can return with confidence,” explains Andrea Cerqueira.

 

The document is composed of three large blocks of content, which support recommendations considering different
factors and fronts of action, giving subsidies to everyone involved – from managers to cleaning and maintenance teams.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Ensuring the effectiveness of cleaning and hygiene of environments depends on the association of different factors and fronts of
action. The first part of the program presents the approach and care that will guide its implementation, composed of four
interdependent axes that will be implemented in a customized way, taking into account the peculiarities of each organization

  • Diagnosis + Mapping The new challenges require a specialized look to properly understand the situation, map the risks, identi fy
    opportunities and propose the best solution for each case.

  • Processes + Products The necessary improvement of cleaning and maintenance services requires structured processes, adequate
    tools and high performance professional products, specially developed for greater effectiveness and productivity.

  • People + Communication Caring is everyone’s role, which opens space for greater protagonism. All efforts in training (for gre ater
    effectiveness in operations) and communication (for disclosure of actions) will be rewarded by the trust of the public, increasing the
    feeling of security

  • Follow-up + Support Checklists and audits help establish a culture of continuous improvement. The proximity of an operation with
    local care provides the necessary care, agility in responses and a high level of support.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY 

The second part includes valuable technical information for the implementation of new conducts from an action plan and
responsibilities, which will serve as a model for all teams of employees to be prepared in their roles to act in a crisis situation,
considering the following aspects:

  • Personal hygiene Recommendations that need to be intensified by everyone in the company or organization, ensuring more safety
    to the environments where they operate.

  • General precautions Guidelines for the creation or improvement of an Emergency Contingency Plan focusing on the main needs of
    each segment, serving as a work guide for employee teams and guidance for customers and third parties.

  • Safety Proper use of datasheets for chemicals and product labels, PPE and information for the creation or improvement of SOPs
    (Standard Operating Procedure).

  • Communication Templates of posters and internal communications to clearly inform changes and new procedures adopted by the
    company or organization.

  • Training Explanatory agenda for the creation of an operator training plan, which will provide greater efficiency, more agility and
    safety in carrying out the tasks.

  • Checklist and audit Templates for applying these important tools, which will help keep the manager informed about the work and
    correct inefficiencies in order to direct practices for continuous improvement.

PROCESSES AND STEP BY STEP PROCEDURES

The third section provides routines and detailed step-by-step instructions, indicating the most appropriate methods and products
for each environment according to its characteristics and primary needs.

The guidelines make up a detailed roadmap, addressing all stages of each process – from the specification of the PPE required in the
operation to the completion of cleaning and disinfection with proper collection and disposal of waste.

ATTACHMENTS

The document is complemented with a set of attached documents, including all technical data sheets, MSDSs and files for effective
communication with their audiences.
