ESG: sustainability as a strategic pillar of ALLIA

Association with the Ethos Institute and creation of the Sustainability Committee materialize ALLIA’s efforts to strengthen its
performance around ESG principles

Sustainability has been one of ALLIA’s pillars since its foundation, and recent initiatives concretely translate the network’s efforts
around this topic. “We need to have the concept in a transversal way in our business, actions and behaviors,” explains Ri cardo
Vacaro, member of the Advisory Board and responsible for leading these processes.

ALLIA and all its companies in Brazil are now members of the Ethos Institute – the leading business organization focused on
sustainable development. In addition to joining a reference ecosystem, they will have access to Ethos Indicators – a tool that
supports the incorporation, planning and management of sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals in their busi ness
strategies.

Another measure was the creation of the Sustainability Committee, whose objective is to promote synergy between ALLIA’s
member companies. “The benchmarks of the network itself and the history of each organization will contribute to a more
consistent evolution of the group,” adds Ricardo.

Both actions aim to equalize and disseminate in the network the concept of sustainable development anchored in the ESG
(environmental, social and governance) pillars, help identify where each one is on this journey and structure the path for it to
move forward consistently and continuously. “Sustainability must permeate the entire organization, so these are important
steps to bring the concept to the center of each leader’s business and management,” he concludes.
